Virginia’s Missing Children Clearinghouse proudly joins efforts with the U. S. Department of Justice to educate Virginia’s fifth-grade students about personal safety issues through a national poster contest.
2012 contest theme:
"BRING OUR MISSING CHILDREN HOME."
The following materials will provide assistance with promotion and implementation of this important activity.

The finished poster must measure 8 ½ x 14 inches.

FACT SHEET FOR EDUCATORS - provides rules, judging criteria, and important dates.
APPLICATION FORM - for contest participants to complete as part of poster contest package.
CERTIFICATE OF RECOGNITION - print the certificate and present one to each participating student.
LESSON PLAN and BOARD GAME - promotes awareness among students and engages them in making choices that can keep them safe from abduction.
