Testing Dates
Phase I consists of two components of testing that you are required to pass. One component of testing consists of a work performance test. The test will consist of a 150-yard course that will measure stamina and cardiovascular fitness in the completion of various job related physical skills. The second component is the written battery of four tests, which include two cognitive and two personality-trait tests. Plan for the written tests and work performance test to take all day.

Virginia State Police Training Academy
